The assembly is bad, when you get to the main part, the hinged padded cabinet door. There is no pre-drilled holes to assemble it. And no guides or remplates. You need a drill, rules, measuring etc to create a perfect assemble to function as a cabinet door, something left to carpenters and professionals. This leaves the item unsuitable for most people as without exacting fits, your door will not work correctly. This was a waste of money imo. Highly disappointed.

Easy to assemble, affordable, and saves space in a small place. Ample shelving, and lights are a great touch. Highly recommend!

I read many reviews before I purchased this and it’s exactly what I thought it would be.Cheap wood that is not very strong, but if you glue every joint it will make this thing much stronger so you can rearrange your furniture or move and it will survive.It’s very functional with power outlets and lots of storage, book shelf or picture space. The lights work great just by touch each side has their own control.Note: The area where all the power wires converge seemed a little unfinished so I cut some closed cell packaging foam to fit around it and I think it looks fine.I didn’t mount it to anything. It is free standing next to the wall and I have a California King. Fits fine

It was easy to assemble. We have tight space to put bedside table so this headboard does its job perfect for us and good quality!!! Highly recommend.

This headboard/cabinet was easy to build (DIY) and install (slides in behind the bed, see picture). It comes with an outlet for all my bedside chargers (+ USB ports) and lights that can be dimmed with a knob. Such an aesthetic and practical addition!

Got the box this week and couldnt wait to put it together to finish off the room. Took two of us 2 hours to put it together. Headboard lights are great; they have replaced the lamps. Our devices are charging quietly while we sleep. I do recommend using something to cover the blue halos buttons that operate the light strip off and on, if lights keep you up while you sleep. Plenty of space for storage. Perfect height for the off brand bed frame we have had for years. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it hasn't been up for 7 days yet so we hope everything is good for years to come.

The cam screws don't tight. Two pieces had cracks in it. The trim is peeling. Most pieces do not line up. I wanted to return it but it would have cost me $60 in shipping. Do not recommend.
