As a last resort, after being almost certain that I would need to sell my motorcycle, due to the horrendous "rumbling" sound in the helmet, due to the inescapable problem of riding a sportbike with a low windshield (worse than no windshield at all), I tried this neck roll. The neck roll, with the velcro positioned at the front of my neck, magically stops the rumbling. If you'll notice, if you lift your head up really high, your loud "rumbling" noise in your full face streetbike helmet will go away, or perhaps you have to lower your head. In certain positions, your helmet will be 90% quieter, without the loud rumbling, because the air stream is more clean and less turbulent in certain positions. If you're riding a bike with a full windshield, then this isn't applicable to you. With the neck roll on, straight out of the package, with no adjustments to the shape or the foam filling, I found that I can position my head just slightly upwards and the air noise is completely silent; for the first time in my life I can hear my engine on my motorcycle at 60mph, instead of loud air rumbling in the helmet.I would not have purchased this product if it was $25. It is priced fair for what it is, and the value price made me buy it as an experiment. This is like getting a brand new motorcycle, because now I can ride with headphones in, or very thin foam ear plugs, instead of the most expensive and totally silent 3M ear plugs. I didn't like having to wear 3M ear plugs because I couldn't hear my engine and I couldn't even hear my passenger talking to me at a stop. But now, I can use regular ear plugs, because without the loud air rumbling, my helmet is very quiet at speed.

Works perfect for wind noise reduction and warmth. I had to pull some of the stuffing out to make it fit better and not put pressure on my helmet. I have used in florida summer and it holds water decent for cooling but still a little stuffy. The adjustable velcro makes it better so you can have an opening in the front.

Comes with much foam inside. But you can remove some from within the zipper to your liking

Poor quality construction. It is coming apart at the seam where the velcro square is sewn to the main body. It does reduce wind buffeting though. I have not tried riding with it wet for cooling.I also need to say that installing the water-absorbent beads was a real pain and very messy. It should come with this already installed.

Of the various types of collars I have bought, despite the lumpy feel in your hand, this IMO, is, by far, the most comfy. Unfortunately I can't use it because the neck hole is so small. This is intended for motorcycle riding. I wear a shirt liner w/collar, the shirt with collar, a light insulated jacket with collar, a gaiter and a top jacket. Not sure who thought this neck size is anywhere near what's needed. However, it's the most comfortable of the 3 I tested.

I ride a sport bike with no fairing. I wear a modular helmet that is consistently rated as 1 of the top 3 quietest helmets, but the wind noise at 50 mph made it hard to listen to music on my Cardo -forget 70. 95% of the wind noise was coming in under the helmet. The "Headwind" blocks 95% of that. I can listen to music at 55 mph without even turning up the volume. Too bad I didn't try this before I bought that $700 helmet.

It will definitely quite wind noise. I haven’t had the opportunity to try using it to cool, but I believe it will be very useful in winter.
