**EDIT**So after a couple more uses the fan started seizing up and also shot a few sparks out. The original review is accurate, but doesn't look like this has a very long life for use. It's done this to me 3 times now, so I just tossed it out as the last thing I need is to start tripping breakers or even worse, this thing breaking and pieces of the heating element flying out and burning me or catch on fire.I've used this heat gun on several projects now. I've had to use an external temperature monitor on the areas I was applying heat too as the first few times the entire sleeve just melted. But the price and once you get the hang of it, it works great. My nice one with adjustable heat was stolen out of my garage, so I need to grab one for a project I had due in two days. It came in one and gave me an entire day to get the project done.

Perfect for my resin crafts! It’s inexpensive and it’s not too loud. It sounds like a low hair dryer. It’s not overly loud for those who are sensitive to sound. I used for a few days in a row for a few hours each day and I had no issues with overheating in my hand. You have different nozzles depending on your needs, the cord is long and easy to work with.
