These are super useful for those who 3D print as you can use these with a soldering iron and put in threads to your printed parts. Fit is great for the heat set inserts and have had no issues with this.

The tool fit my Weller WLC100 gun perfectly. The threaded tips fit perfectly and screw onto the tool easily. This will come in handy for many projects to come.

These worked well for pushing threaded inserts into my 3D printed project. I like the fact that this set includes all the sizes from M2-M8 so now I know I have the tool for any size insert. It comes in a small plastic case with a bag inside so you have double protection that everything stays together.

I don't know what to say here. They work exactly as advertised. They heat well and are secure in the soldering iron. This is a bit of a specialty product, but if you do 3D printing and need to put heat insert nuts in this is a great kit. Please make sure to order the correct variation for your soldering iron. I have both types of soldering iron so it works well for me, however I can imagine the disappointment if I got the one that didn't work. I liked it so much that I bought the other style that did not come from Amazon Vine! Highly recommended.

I use these constantly for functional 3d printed parts. Boxes, organizers, new 3d printers, things like that and they are very, very helpful. You can screw directly into plastic but it only has about 10% of the holding strength of these inserts. Just make sure they fit your soldering iron, set it a little hotter than the softening temperature of the plastic you are inserting into and they press right in.

This does a great job embedding nut inserts into 3D prints, or pretty much any other plastics. I've need something like this for a while for my 3D printing, and so far have had no issues with it successfully embedding one of these. Make sure you have the right kind of tip on your soldering iron, or you may have some issues.

This is a great little kit for using a soldiering iron to insert either rivet nuts or knurl nuts in 3d printed objects created out of such filament as PLA. The included adapter allows you to replace your soldiering iron tip with the adapter which allows you to screw any of the different tip sizes onto it. This kit pairs well with this 80 watt soldiering iron also on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R3515SF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1Installation of the adapter takes seconds. One thing to keep in mind when using these tips is not to select a tip that is too close in size to your nut. I found that some vendor’s nuts have too close a tolerance between the size of the nut and the iron tip. For example, when I was using the M3 tip with an M3 nut, after the first nut was placed, I found that I could not insert the tip in the next nut, because the tip had slightly expanded, and the close tolerance did not allow it. This was not an issue with this product, just something to keep in mind. The solution was to allow the iron to cool down and replace the tip with a smaller one allowing me to continue.Up to this point I had been using another method for mounting rivet and knurl nuts. But these tips make it so easy to do and control alignment that I will only be using this method from now on. I would highly recommend this product.
