So i'll admitt I didn't read the description very well so i was bummed when it didn't come with a battery, but to my suprise it was just customer error and i failed to read that it does not come with a battery. but luckily I had one and guess what it powered right up and started to get warm. i can't wait to use this at the game in a couple of weekends

I am giving this one star because after having worn many electric vests for many years I have the experience that many new customers would not have to evaluate critical factors. I list them below, in no specific order:The battery pocket is an inch too short to hold the many large capacity batteries on the market. Anyone into technology today has a bunch and wants large capacity fast charging and more features. They are about 7.25 inches high and with the USB connector, the zipper cannot close. The result is that the battery will immediately fall out, the moment you flip up the vest bottom to use the restroom, adjust your belt, get something out of pockets, etc. This means the wire will soon crack and break, and that is it!The fact that this is a UNISEX vest, ( and I understand that it need not be specifically designed for any one sex) should NOT mean that the MAJORITY of the WORLD who are in fact RIGHT HANDED should have to deal with a reverse zipper than what they have always been trained to use.Placing the electric control and even worse, the battery on the right, means that all right handed persons have to deal with needless awkward confusion to fit the battery into the barely fitting too short pocket and then to plug in the USB cable with the LEFT hand!!!! AWFULLY needlessly frustrating for any right handed person !!!!! Regardless of their sex ! And especially due to the pocket being too short and it always falling out!Because all batteries have multiple ports that could be used to power or charge something else, and because you do in fact have an outside pocket right next to the inside pocket holding the battery, it would make sense to have either a USB jumper extension or just a rubber grommet hole to fish through from the outside pocket to the inside pocket a think USB phone or other charge cable.I love the heat and particularly the neck heating placement which is rare for vests, as well as the ability to select front or back, and the strong heating the vest provides. That is why I am keeping it as winter suddenly approaches, however, I am not buying it for anyone else in my family or for friends and cannot recommend such a frustrating poorly considered product. NUFF SAID ?

Overall I like it. It is warm without the heaters on and very warm with them. I like that the front and back have separate controls and independent heating levels. It looks good too. I've been wearing this outside in near freezing temperatures underneath other layers and it has been keeping me much warmer. I'm not sure how battery life is overall yet as I've changed the heat levels quite a bit depending on how hard I am working and turned on or off each zone, also it's being powered off a 25,000mah pack. I really like that the controls light up inside the vest instead of outside it. I also like that pushing the buttons from outside the vest will activate and cycle them. That is nice so I dont have to unzip it to make changes. The few negatives are the hand pockets are very small and only go about half the width of the vest. It leaves almost half my hand outside the pocket. While the zipper goes high up the chest I wish it went just a bit further up the neck to keep the awesome neck heater closer. I found it interesting that I feel the heat spreading all around even though the elements themselves are fairly small, nothing like what is shown in the pictures. It is important to pay attention to the sizing chart, the sizes are not standard US sizes, more like Chinese sizes. So go up at least a size.Overall so far I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others for the $50 price.

PROS: The lining is a soft cotton feel vs others that are polyester.Heating areas are much larger than most. Another brand had 7 very specific sewn in pads that got really hot, but very small areas. This one feels warm all over. The battery is stored in an extra pocket. Other brands have the battery in one of your front pockets. This is OK if you have a really small battery but my hands are big and there is no room for my hand and a battery.Dual control for front and back. My back tends to get too hot.CONS:The zipper does not go all the way up. My daughter likes the look, I'd rather it zip all the way up to keep the wind off my neck. The battery pocket on the medium size is smaller than mine. The large vest will hold a battery the size of a cell phone, but I got the Anker PowerCore 10000. Curved edges, small and light, you won't know it's there. If you're up north or need it to last all day get a 20000.

This vest is nicely constructed and heats up rapidly. I purchased the large and wear women’s size 12/14. It fit snug in the hips and waist and a bit large in the chest but that’s to be expected with unisex sized clothing. I love the heated collar! I wear this to walk the dogs and even just around the house in the mornings when I first get out of my warm bed; it makes mornings much more tolerable. My only complaint is that the seller enclosed a form explaining how I can get a free power bank (the vest doesn’t come with one) within 5 business days if I send my email and order number. I did this and so far it’s been over 5 days and no power bank. I’ve emailed the company again and will update this review once more time has gone by.**EDIT** The seller sent me a nice battery pack as promised. I just wish the battery came with it at the beginning so I could use the vest the day I got it and didn’t have to buy my own power pack while I was waiting for the seller to send one. I like having a back up power supply so I have a fresh battery all the time but this was a hassle.
