The plastic switch that opens the engine hatch on my boat disintegrated after a few years. I purchased this on-off-on switch and was immediately impressed with the way it was built, all metal. It was advertised as 120 volt but I needed it for a 12 volt system, no problem, it works perfectly and looks like it will give me great service for a few more years.

These are much higher quality that others you see of the same type. I ordered another brand previously and had them fail within days.

Easy to install... the only thing I didn’t like was having to use the screws for the wires. I would have rather put terminal ends on the wires and pushed on. Other than that great quality switch.

Needed to replace a worn out switch on a Flagstaff tent trailer. Took only minutes to install and now the lift works again. Added a weatherproof cap since it looked like rain killed my old switch and I could see that happening to this too if used in an outdoor application.

I received a product that doesn’t work and tried to return with the response that this item is not be eligible for return. In all the times that I’ve had items to return because of defect I’ve not ever run into this. Now trying to call to speak to a human.

Perfect for my boat lift up/down off control.High current application requires sturdy connections.I first tried horseshoe type but they slipped off as the screw was tightened down.Then circular wire terminators would stay on but I had a little trouble finding high current version with diameter small enough.The ones I found had small sleeves so I had to reduce the high current wire size to solder them into the sleeves.
