The Heavy Duty Brake Caliper Compression Tool is a small but mighty addition to any mechanic’s arsenal. This universal disc brake pad spreader works wonders if you take it slow and leave the pads in, allowing you to push all the pistons back at once. Despite its compact size, it doesn’t skimp on performance, making it a perfect fit for your tool box without hogging space. While there are heftier options out there, they tend to monopolize a quarter of a tool box drawer. This tool, however, strikes the perfect balance between size and functionality. At its price point, it offers fantastic value, making it an essential tool for automotive, motorcycle, and truck repairs. Don’t let its size fool you—this little tool packs a punch!

Used this on my 2 opposed piston rear brake calipers and made replacing the brake pads very easy.

This is a very well made tool, built of solid steel, and everything moves and functions smoothly. This will fit double piston calipers as well as single piston ones of various sizes. This is easy to use, once the caliper is off, and the pads out, just put the tool in where the disc would usually be between the two halves of the caliper and crank the handle until the piston(s) are fully retracted into the caliper. This is a must have tool for doing brakes on cars, trucks, trucks, and motorcycles. Well worth the cost!

This is a great invention! I have rigged up c-clamps at lousy angles. I've had to pry. If you don't have the right tool, you do whatever you have to do to get that thing back on the road... unless you don't do your own vehicle repairs. Then someone else does...This tool works great on my motorcycle. I find it to be a great time saver and a better way to do the job. It is less likely to do damage than other methods I have attempted. I am relieved to have this. This tool looks well made for what it is. It feels beefy enough to last quite a while, especially considering how seldom I will need to use it.
