A good value option if you frequently need to provide battery power to another source. This kit seems designed for a tow truck operator, or others who are more interested to jump start other cars. To install, you attach the quick connect kit to your battery which in gives your vehicle an Anderson plug for which you connect this kit. I’m using to connect the Anderson plug to a winch, the build quality of the cable gauge and connectors quality are good. The storage bag is flimsy, but otherwise a good set.

Last week, I had an unexpected experience during a road trip when my SUV suddenly wouldn't start. Luckily, I had the Heavy Duty Jumper Cables packed in my trunk, which turned out to be a real lifesaver. At 20 feet long, these cables allowed me to reach another vehicle without a problem, and the strong alligator clamps provided a solid grip on my battery terminals, ensuring a secure connection. I appreciated the thoughtful insulation that made it safe to handle, especially in the chilly weather. The cables were flexible even in the cold, which made setup quick and easy. What stood out to me was the included carry bag, which kept everything organized and space-efficient in my trunk. After a few minutes, my engine roared back to life, and I felt a wave of relief. While I do wish they were a little lighter, the durability and performance of these cables make them essential for any driver. Overall, a solid investment for anyone looking to avoid roadside mishaps.

These are decent jumper cables, I like the versatility of the 175A plug connection to be able to make a fixed connection to a vehicle and be able to plug and unplug the cables as needed. The connector is gray and compatible with gray Anderson 175 connectors, keep in mind that the connectors are keyed and color coded so you can't plug gray into red or yellow as the keying prevents it. They come with both a vehicle end pigtail and a jumper cable side, pre-made-up and ready to install. The cable size is a bit on the thin side for claimed--I measured 0.27" cable diameter, which is about 1-1/2 gauge, well short of the 0.306" diameter that 1/0 (what they're advertised as) would be, so that's a bit disappointing. The length is also off, the vehicle pigtail measured at 3'5" and the jumper cable portion at 16'9" on what I got, which does add up to the 20' it's supposed to be, though not quite in the stated proportions. While they did come preassembled, one of the plugs was assembled incorrectly and I had to take it apart and reassemble it in order to be able to use it. That's pretty easy, but just one more "not quite" strike. The insulation is substantial and has good flexibility and a nice sturdy feel to it, and the clamps are all metal but powder or epoxy coated pretty thickly, so should be quite durable.Overall, decent jumper cables, but I'd recommend downrating the amp claims they offer by about half to be on the safe side based on the actual vs. claimed wire size. Cost for cost against other actually-comparable cables, they're a decent value.

Pigtail length is 41" not 5 ft as claimed. (See photo) Claims the quick disconnect is "silverplated copper" is highly suspect given that it will hold a magnet indicating some ferrous material where none should be. The vinyl coating on the clamps is VERY thin, I don't think it will last long under normal use. The ring connectors are uncoated copper likely leading to corrosion at the battery connectors. NOT remotely commercial grade, no tradesman would be caught with this cheapie despite what other reviewers say. Notice all positive reviews are from "Vine customers" who received the product for free.

These are commercial-grade jump cables like the tow companies use. The smaller "pig tail" with the ring terminals permanently installs to your vehicles battery. The other end of the pig tail is a 175 amp Anderson-type connector with a weather cap. When a vehicle needs to be jumped, the clamps from the other cable are installed to the other vehicles battery and the 175 amp Anderson-type connectors are plugged in together. The advantage here is a known-good connection to the host vehicle, not having to deal with battery corrosion on the terminals. It certainly speeds things up. The longer cable with the clamps comes with a nice carry case. The case is large enough to slip a few more tools in there (tire pressure gauge, spare fuses, flashlight, etc). The fact that the case is soft keeps it from sliding around in the trunk. Everything here seems to be of great quality - the connections, the thickness/quality of the cable itself, the carry case, etc. They are notably longer than most other jumper cables on the market, allowing one to make the connection even if battery placement of the host/dead vehicle aren't placed near each other. I have zero regrets with these jumper cables.

Nicely constructed, heavy, long cables, that stay pliable in freezing weather. Bought this for RAM Cummins with dual batteries on opposite sides of engine
