Needs a spring to hold the 13.4mm snap receptacle down on the post of the 15mm button otherwise the crimp is not concentric button . Spring dims: 3/8”OD x 1/2” L, 0.05”wire, 0.15” Pitch. Also a tap withe a small Phillips head screwdriver on the crimp ID didn’t hurt to more authoritatively set the crimp

This thing is so easy to use, so nifty and it works so well. Has been easy to attach these buttons onto bucket hats and clothes. I love that it comes with a variety of snap on buttons and does not require much strength to use the little hand grip machine. It works so well, doesn’t slip out of your hand, and easy to align the button snaps. I definitely recommend this!

I like how this entire kit fits neatly in the case it comes with. I also like all the different attachments it comes with. I tested it out using some of the fasteners it came with and it is very easy to use. I'm looking forward to using it more as more projects come up.

Review of Heavy Duty Snap Fastener Tool Kit Includes 40 Sets 15mm Snaps for Boat Cover,Repairing Boat Covers, Canvas, Sewing, TarpsQuality:Good. The tool itself is well made. It's sturdy with a nice finish. Easy to open and close, everything meets up where it should. Fasteners are good quality in a plastic box. Instructions are well written and clear. Case has a sturdy zipper and is durable fabric with a securely attached handle.Impressions:It works well, at least on the scrap I tried it on. You get a really nice variety of snaps and fasteners so it works for a lot of projects right out of the box. You have to pay attention to get everything aligned but once you do it's a simple process.The tool is easy to manipulate and the rubber grips make it quite comfortable to hold. The fasteners are in a little divided box that snaps closed and stays closed so the little pieces won't go everywhere if it's dropped. Little things like that just add to the usefulness. You get a variety of screws/snaps and three dies. Unless you have very specific needs this kit should cover most projects and repairs.The case is nice. The outer fabric is durable, the binding is cleanly attached as are the zipper and handle. The zipper works well and the tool and fastener case are held in place with two elastic mesh sleeves. LIttle details like that just make a set like this that much more pleasant to use.Overall, it's a really nice kit that most people should find useful.
