Exactly the part for my cub cadet lt1042. I didn't get to use it over once. Season was over by the time it happened. Part is well made and fits. Can't comment on reliability yet.

Replaced a pulley that flew off due to bad bearing. This is a good replacement. Fit well and size was as described.

I thought this pulley was well made. The first one I ordered by using a parts book didnt fit becuase my model zero turn was made a few years earlier. Some of those 50 zero turn cub cadets use the smaller pulleys on them for some reason. One thing I found out over the years is if your a CLEAN FREAK.. and use a POWER washer to wash your deck after mowing your actually spraying water into the pulley bearings and can also spray the grease out of them and then they will fail much earlier. Better off to use the dry method of cleaning as stupid as that sounds and is.. a Leaf blower works better. This pulley has high ridges on it and its hard to slip the belt over it when you install it but those ridges also help keep the belt on once its on. The price is right on this part also. GOOD WORKMANSHIP and GREAT PRICE.

This pulley if you don't do what I was advised to do by the Manager at the Cub Cadet service dept. will not last anytime at all. I was going through at least two, several times a season. After my complaining to him about all these made in China pulleys that the bearings fall out in no time. He asked me if I had been hosing down my mower right after mowing to clean it up. I said yes and he said that any water that hits this pulley while it is hot will absorb that moisture into the bearing and they will fail. After that and finding these (same as what they where selling at a higher price) I started doing my weed eating after I mowed and let the mower and pulleys cool down. That and using my blower to blow off the deck and also keeping my water spray limited to where I spray. It solved the problem of them going bad so quickly, and I just replaced the last one I ordered several seasons ago. My suggestion is if you need this pulley now. Get a spare to keep on hand, for when you will need to replace it. You will somewhere down the road have to replace it again, and it is a whole lot nicer to have a back up on hand to put on. than having to run out to a dealer or order another one here to finish mowing.

Worked great, perfect fit and the quality seems good. I installed this on my Cub Cadet GT2550 with a 50" deck in about 10 min. and it fixed the stock broken pulley perfectly.I opted for the heavy duty pulley over the standard in hopes that it will hold up better for the few dollar price difference, time will tell. For now the mower is working like new and I recommend this pulley to others in need.I will update the review if the pulley fails, etc.
