My mower (Toro Timecutter Z4200) was making a noise and then stopped cutting. I drove it back to the shop and looked underneath to find that the tensioning idler pulley was gone. The bearing gave up and the center of the pulley was all that was left. I ordered this and after it arrived, it took me about 45 minutes to drop the deck, slide it out one side, replace the pulley, remount the deck, reposition and retension the belt and that included sweeping the deck free of the accumulated clippings so that I could see what I was doing. Well worth it to keep a nearly 20 year old riding mower cutting grass.

i suggest people order screws, washers and nuts along with your spindle. i dropped the deck removed pully and installed. process took less than 30 minutes with two people. Also check the belt. I had already installed a new belt but I am just suggesting. Item worked very well. Thanks

I purchased 3 of these Idler pulleys for our 5000 series zero turn mower. I also purchased Timken 6203-2Rsc3 ball bearings. We have 3 rental properties, our home's yard as well as a vacant piece of land. We live in Florida so mowing seasons starts early and end late. My husband installed these without difficulty and WOW ! what a difference. I did not realize how loud and clanky the mower had become. It is a ton quitter now and not popping clanking at all! I do not know about how long they will last but very happy so far!

Fit perfectly on my Toro SS5000 Time Cutter! Hardest part about install was getting the old bolt out. As a note, this does NOT come with the bolt, but I just used the one from the old idler pulley and it fit perfect. The bearings in this glide perfectly and seems to be made of good quality. I was surprised that Amazon sold tractor parts, but boy was I glad. Fast shipping and now my grass looks great! Thanks!

I made the mistake originally of purchasing a non Toro branded pulley to replace one that had gone bad after several years of service. The off brand part ended up seizing up on me after on only 10 hours of use. Live a learn!So I spent the few extra dollars and purchased this Toro Flat Idler Pulley and I can say I have been extremely pleased with it.It has sealed bearings so there are no grease points on this pulley. It is self lubricated. It is an exact replacement part for my 2008 Z5000 Toro riding mower. It is identical to the original part in every way that I can see.The pulley spins freely (as it should) when mounted on the mower deck and has no signs of "wobble". This pulley DOES NOT come with the center bolt. You'll need to pick that up from the hardware store. I was able to get a very good one for under $1.After 4 months of service it is still running strong for me and I can see this part lasting many years.Highly Recommended!
