Very simple to install. Great improvement to the feel and performance of the truck in corners. High quality parts that are a great addition to the truck. OE fit and finish of the product. The only thing that could be improved is some better pictures in the instructions and four more 1/2”-20 nuts to be jam nuts on the frame U-bolts.

Great upgrade for 3rd gen Rams without a rear sway bar. Big difference in the corners. Installation is pretty straightforward. It helps to have a second pair of hands but it is doable by yourself. There are a couple of installation tips that are helpful that are not included in the directions. The mounting bracket on the right has a slot cut into it to fit over the brake line (see photo). You do not have to move the brake line. Also, the orientation of the sway bar should have the ends of the bar facing upward(see photo). An upgrade that's worth the time and money.

If if you have aftermarket exhaust is probably won't work for you unless you get your hangers moved. I could not use it unless I moved my exhaust which was cost me more time and money

Installed on my 04 dodge ram 1500, fits perfectly. i have dual exhausts and had to adjust the pipe mounting brackets slightly to make room. i did have to remove my spare tire to get better access for the install and made it much easier to maneuver under my truck. test drove it this morning and the cornering is very impressive. feels tighter on the corners and not much sway as it used to have for the side to side roll. i do carry heavy loads from time to time and i have air bags installed as well, it did not get in the way of the installation of the sway bar, just info for those who may be in the same situation as i was when i planned this upgrade. i love it and it feels like i am driving a much newer truck than my '04.

I purchased this used from Amazon and it arrived on time but with parts missing. Hellwig was nice enough to ship out the parts 2nd day delivery. A+ to Hellwig. Amazon compensated me for the missing parts. A+ to Amazon. The sway bar was painted gray speckle, what Hellwig calls hammertone. ( duh duh duh duh....duh duh.. duh duh hammertone.) Sorry couldn't help myself. I sanded all the shine off of it, primered it and sprayed it flat black with 1 rattle can of each. Looked a lot better as now it matched my suspension color. Install instructions were a little unclear about the frame plate placement (need better photos of spare tire frame cross member). Apart from that the install was pretty straight forward. Took a while to position the sway bar in the correct slight downward position.Now for the 3 star rating. I don't feel much difference when cornering. I like to take exit ramps as fast and safely as possible and don't real feel the difference I was expecting. I will update this review in one or two months after a longer testing period.

Let me start by saying that once installed, the 7651 makes a big difference in the ride quality of my 06 Ram 1500. My test drive was in the rain, and it hasn't cleared up yet, so I haven't had the chance to really shake it down, but I can already feel that the truck turns with far less body roll, and the back end no longer skips to the outside of curves if I hit a bump. The quality of the parts are great, everything seems to be well constructed.That being said, there are some minor issues that Hellwig could address. For starters, the shipping box was trashed on arrival. Hellwig obviously expects this, after all it's a heavy, irregular shaped bar of metal. The small parts box came glued to the interior of the box, so it could not fall out. Lining the perimeter of the box interior would help as well. The documentation was a little off, but as it turns out that was also a positive. The instructions call for 7/16 and 9/16 nuts, but mine were actually 11/16 and 3/4. I never say no to thicker steel in a part, but it could cause some confusion. Also, the instructions call for double-bolting the u-bolts to the axle, but my u-bolts were nowhere near long enough for double-bolting. Some thread locker and the proper application of torque has me pretty sure the nuts won't back off, though.EDIT: Don't worry about having a second set of hands, or jack stands to hold up the bar. Simply start one nut on the axle u-bolts with the u-plate hanging from that point, and you can drop the bushings right into the u-plate, then attach the remaining nuts and rotate the entire u-bolt assembly to the proper facing and tighten.All in all, this is a great product, needing just a little attention to detail. Don't hesitate to bolt this on to your gen 3 Ram.

First, the sway bar did fit my 2009 Ram 2500 (Gas, 4X4, regular cab). I mention that because the Hellwig website does not specify a sway bar that fits my configuration. The Amazon filters said it would fit, so I gave it a shot and it worked.Second, the bar itself is a high-quality, heavy duty piece and does an excellent job at what it is supposed to do. That said, if you plan to install it yourself you will benefit with an extra hand holding it up as you mount it. I did not. I had to loosely attach the axle mounts, hold the bar up with one hand and slide it through the U-clamps. The bar will hang there as you attach the frame mounts and the rest is easy - just tightening up the bolts and adjusting the fit. The only complaint I have (and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars) is that the threads of most of the bolts and U-bolts were damaged or improperly machined. I had to spend a lot of extra time re-threading them. I'm not sure if they were made in China but I wouldn't be surprised given the poor quality of the machining.But the end result was worth it - A heavy duty sway bar installed in a couple of hours.
