The example has to be photoshopped. There is no way an full face motorcycle helmet will sit on the hangar as shown. It is too small and the helmet will contact the wall before it can sit like that. You’d have to make a stand off base to have it actually sit in the hangar as shown.

The photo that is advertising the helmet shows a motorcycle helmet displayed straight up is false advertising. When I installed the rack and attempted to hang my large size motorcycle helmet for the 1st time the rack did not extent far enough from the wall causing my helmet to hit the wall. It does fit my helmet if I turn it and have it facing down. Also the back bracket for the screws was not flat it had a slight curve causing it to not be flush on the wall.
