This is, in my mind, an IDEAL dish. But not for eggs. I mean, it's perfect for eggs. But as a watercolor artist, it's a perfect size for holding in one hand, with tons of wells for different colors of paint to be mixed, and each well is deep enough to accommodate a large volume of paint. The glaze is smooth and poreless. Couldn't be better.

This plate is smaller than a saucer. Shame on me for not paying attention to the size.
