Although this is a nice looking duty belt case it doesn't work well for me because of the large design. If this case were horizontal it might work better, bending downward it presses into my body when I'm in the sitting position it comes open, not to mention uncomfortable. This case is approximately 2" bigger vertically than my Sig magazine pouch. See photos attached regarding this case.

Bought this a little over a year ago, carried it on my duty belt behind my gun. As others have said, it's big and bulky, but it does keep the tourniquet covered and prevents the Velcro of my CAT 7 tourniquet from rubbing holes through my uniform shirt or outer carrier. One small nitpicky detail is the holder I received as a "+" on it instead of "TQ" on the outside, which differs from the photo shown on this listing, but it's still pretty obvious what it is, anyhow. The leather surface on the bottom corner of the holder has worn off over 12+ months of rubbing against car seats and such, revealing some kinda kydex or other plastic inner layer, which is probably how it holds its shape. As far as durability, overall it's pretty good.BUT...When I first put it on, I maybe opened the thing to draw the tourniquet out maybe once or twice just to see how easily I could draw it out and to make sure I could reach it with either hand. After that, I figured it was kind of a "set it and forget it" bit of gear.WRONG!I was going to add a second tourniquet to my duty carry gear and went to take out my old CAT 7 to compare it to the new one I just bought. I absolutely COULD NOT get the button snap of the holster's flap to come open! Pulling with literally all my strength, I absolutely could not rip the thing open. Even had another guy on my squad yank on the thing while I was wearing it on my duty belt, and we couldn't get this stupid thing open at all! Had to get out my multi-tool and PRY THE BUTTON SNAP OPEN in order to get the tourniquet out. Having a tourniquet that's inaccessible without using tools is about as good as not having a tourniquet at all!I'm just glad I found this out when I was at the station before briefing and not out on the street when trying to stop an arterial bleed-out. THIS THING COULD HAVE COST SOMEONE THEIR LIFE!Up until this point, I was going to give this at least a 4-star rating (only docking one for its bulkiness). Now, I don't even want to give it ONE star because this holder's failure could have meant someone would have bled to death before I could have gotten the thing out and applied in time to stop the bleed. ABSOLUTE AND COMPLETE TOTAL FAILURE OF A CRITICAL POINT. If the closure had been made of Velcro instead of a button snap, then it wouldn't have been a problem. I'm not sure if I can put Velcro on there myself or just cut the flap off entirely in order to salvage this thing, being that I spent something like sixty bucks on it, and it's sad that I should even have to consider either option because of a part so simple but so critical to this thing's utility is such an utter failure.

The paint on the white cross on the front was poorly painted. The material has imperfections when viewed up close. The CAT tourniquet fits properly and the case rides well on the belt.

Lot of reviews said it’s a big holder, and fits but is loose. If you prep your TQ properly, it is perfect. Good quality leather and snap button. Research how to prep your TQ. Seconds matter if your using it. It’s big- but If your prepped TQ is right- it’s golden and protected ready to go. Glad I got this over an average cloth holder.Do I need to say it again? LEARN TO PREP YOUR TQ PROPERLY!!!!!

My husband loves this because it completely encloses the tourniquet and the tourniquet now doesn't wear down the fabric of his external vest carrier.

I had to find a holder that integrated with my duty belt & the Airtek holder met the challenge.

I had used an Eleven 10 type tourniquet case, but the velcro on the tourniquet kept catching my shirt and the car seat. The Hero's Pride holder is a little bigger than I thought it would be, but holds the CAT Tourniquet without a problem. I wear the tourniquet behind my gun, but I wasn't comfortable with the clearance, because it was thicker than the Eleven 10 case. This caused me to switch and put my baton first, then move the Hero's Pride behind the baton. I thought this might be a problem sitting, but so far it's been comfortable in the car and I haven't had any problem.
