The title essentially says it all. The blocks arrived exactly as pictured, finely wrapped in oiled paper and measure well within the specified tolerance. As other reviewers have mentioned, the through holes would need to be reamed out slightly in order for the cap screws to pass through them should you require that for your jigs, however, besides being an easy thing to remedy as the holes aren’t hardened most setups that I’ve encountered generally don’t require fastening the blocks together.Taking into account the fit and finish as well as the price, it’s safe to say that this block kit would accurately serve most shops and machinists… professional and hobbyist alike.

Although the finish and squareness seems good, the screw hole countersinks and threads are unacceptably rough. Contrary to some reviews (likely describing an older version), these blocks cannot be screwed together in a 90 degree "L" shape because the unthreaded bores are not cut with relief for allowing the screw head to pass into the block. This is a basic 1-2-3 block use case, and I'm disappointed that such an inadequate design was considered.I also emailed the vendor directly, giving them an opportunity to remediate the issue without needing a return, but I have not received a response. As of 3/23, I haven’t received any acknowledgment from the vendor after 3 emails. Their lack of product quality and customer service is astounding. Please steer clear of this company, as cheaper and higher quality alternatives exist.

First thing I did with one of these unwrapping it, is drop it, corner hit the metal table then bounced off onto the concrete. I figured being a cheap Amazon purchase it would be damaged, but no burs on the corners and no dings I could see or feel. I pulled out the caliper and the 1" side was .0005 under, the 3" side was .0005 over, and the 2" side was spot on. Tight enough tolerance for the work I do but to let others know if they need tighter tolerances. Should be handy for me.

These 11 hole blocks bolt together properly unlike most of the imported blocks. The sides are flat and parallel within 0.0005 and may be better than that, but I have not placed them on a surface plate. The 1" and 3" dimensions are exact, but the 2" dimension is +0.002. This variance is unimportant to me, flatness and the ability to bolt them together in a variety of configurations to assist setup is what I wanted.

I'm using these mainly for setup in my shop. I got two sets, and the price is right.

My boyfriend loves them! He makes many models for architecture school and they are perfect! Be ready to be weigher down by them, these babies are pure metal.

Great for setup work! Square enough for my purposes. My only complaint is how rough the chamfers are. It looks like somebody hit it with a angle grinder with a coarse grinding wheel. A belt sander would have been just as quick and would look much nicer.

These blocks are made in China BUT for Chinese junk these are very good. Why? Well they are accurate on all measurements coming in at exactly 1.000000 x 2.000000 x 3.000000 verified on via my probing machine. They are perfectly square as well. The bolts are properly threaded for 3/8 x 16 bolts and there is enough meat on the untapped holes to tap them on a mill if needed. I do recommend running a thread chaser not a tap through the tapped holes to clean out the coating as some of them may be dirty. So to the guy who gave them one star you know the creep in the street guy well he either a didn’t clean the threads or b used the wrong thread pitch bolts. Either way he is a whiner as he is crying about very cheap Chinese blocks. If he wanted perfection he shouldn’t have gone out and bought an expensive precision set but he didn’t cause he’s cheap and just wants to complain because he’s a troll.

These blocks are quite good considering what they cost. I have measured them and they are typically within 5 tenths of a thousandth from the nominal dimensions. Even though the absolute dimensions are a little off from spec. They are parallel and square. For setups, they are accurate enough for the typical machine ops. The finish and workmanship is also very good.

These are pretty good. I'm not a machinist and can't grade these for precision. But they look great, I have one on my desk which I use more like a piece of art. They are more accurately dimensioned than I need for woodworking and so these work great for squaring up my tablesaw blade, making sure two ends are aligned, and for checking tape measures for bent clips on the end of the tape (which throws off the measurement). Also, due to their weight they are able to hold small parts in place that I need to solder or glue. I've added a thin coat of furniture wax to help protect the surface from rust.

Good 1,2,3 blocks. Measured all dimensions to be pretty much dead on, I think one measured plus three tenths(+0.0003). Bolt together in all possible combinations.(5/16-18 x 1/2" long bolts not included) Not sure why others have said they don't bolt tegther correctly, unless they have changed the design. Using a surface plate and height gage I can bolt them together within two thousandths (0.002) without much effort and if I clamp them down before tightening the bolts they are within five tenths (0.0005)The only downside that I see is It looks like someone overly hand filed the edges. I'd rather have sharper edges. Also, the area inside the bolt hole area is a bit rough but not a big deal.
