I didn't even notice how many functions this had when I got it. In the dark, when you may have trouble using the regular camera finder, this has a function to find infrared light emissions. I tested it with my Wii bar, as it uses infrared lights. It will not pick up remote signals as far as my testing, which is good against false positives. I was able to see my camera through the finder, but it is by no means hidden. I do not have any hidden cameras to test with.I kind of tested the magnetic field finder, but it goes off with permanent magnets. I am not sure that you could easily tell the difference between any regular magnets and something putting out a magnetic signal.

Neat little multi-function spy detector. This one is the best I have found in its class. It is easy to work and does the essential functions well. The RF radio WiFi detection function is good with effective sensitivity control that facilitates location and isolation of various RF sources. The infra-red camera and the red lens locator function worked for me and was easier, better that most. The magnetic field locator is about average for its class. I do not spend a lot on these detectors so I can only comment and compare the $50 or less category I am familiar with. And of that modestly priced group comprising my area of "expertise", this one is the best I have found. It is small, light portable and is as easy to transport, conceal and carry as a ball point pen. It is bigger than a pen, about the size, no smaller thad a Twix candy bar. Sorry for the confusion, but it is small and easy to use. Being rechargeable via USB-C is a plus and it does not take a lot of power to do its job so it lasts a long time between charges. Five Stars for Price, Function, Design and Ease of Use.

I’ve tried two other similar devices in the $20-$30 price range, and this $39 product is by far the best and worth buying.I purchased it mainly for my daughter to use while attending college from afar and searching for rental rooms or ADUs. After several tests, both the camera detection and wireless signal detection features performed decently in both day and night conditions. Unlike other devices, this one can detect hidden cameras and wireless signals without needing to be extremely close to the target.Overall, it works pretty well and provides better performance than the alternatives I've tested.

When I first received this, I figured “I know what I’m doing - After all manuals are just extra packing material, right?”, but I was wrong. Once I actually took the time to read the manual, it worked perfectly. I tested it on a few of my own cameras, and every one was quickly detected. I can see myself (Or anyone really), using this whenever I travel. You never know when literally ANYONE has installed a wireless camera where you least expect it to be. While I’m not saying this is absolutely fail proof, I will say it’s definitely going with me whenever I travel, along with my added sense of security.

I travel often, domestically and internationally. So many times, I have stayed in places where I didn't feel secure and wished that I had one of these sensors for my own peace of mind. It provides 6 levels of sensitivity for infrared cameras, listening devices, GPS , etc. It has a long range of detection of 15CM-100CM. It is easy to operate and user friendly. I cant wait to have it accompany me on my travels and keep me looped in for any snoopin' Peepin' Tom in periphery.

This portable RF scanner is able to detect a phone nearby, but only at a fairly close distance so I am not really sure how effective this device would be at actually finding any listening devices.
