Yeah, this looks real, but it’s not real. You can pull it off on string at a time it’s like some weird hard pressed fabric. It doesn’t smell like leather. It literally pills off the suede side. I’m actually pretty disappointed.

Almost unusably small...To be fair half of the pieces were ruffly 4-6 square inches. But the other half were only 1-2 square inches....So if you are sewing together some sort of steampunk random quilt pattern to make bigger pieces probably not the best option...Would not even say it is worth the price to use as practice pieces....

I only needed these pieces of hide to use as padding for the vise. This is about the only purpose I see for these because they are pretty small pieces (see picture) with a lot of scars and imperfections. The shapes are quite irregular, making it hard to cut even pieces larger than a couple of inches in each dimension. I was pleased to see the branding on one of the pieces (bottom in picture). I wonder where Delta H ranch is?!!!
