Did not work correctly. The coil does not fully engage when 12v is applied. This causes engine to be starved of fuel or not start.

This fuel solenoid valve fit my 18.0hp, 42" riding mower which now runs as well as ever. I made the identification based on a model number I found on a stamped plate on the front of the engine block -- 31H777. The owner's manual gives model number 917-272751 which isn't good for anything.
