I was a bit reluctant to purchase these bags for my 2005 Honda Rebel, thinking they’d look big and bulky.I was wrong!! These bags look great… If you have a rebel 250cmx.. do it, just don’t forget the bats that go under them to hold them off the wheels like I did. Ugh…

This is my first attempt with sidebags, I think this is a great value for first try. Holds tools, bike cover, rain gear; 2 flexible drink holders on either side of bag. attach points usable for other gear. Classic looking buckle, but there is a modern clip behind it making it easier to open than the traditional buckle, big yea for the price. Fitment on 86 HD Sportster 1100 is great, pretty universal fitment.

The previous saddlebags sat on the pipes which burned the bottom of the right side bag. These bags were able to sit higher to keep them off the pipes. Unfortunately they were by no means water proof even when just sitting parked in the rain. They also do not drain…Also, they were not large enough to put my portfolio into for a quick ride to a meeting down the road.In the end, you get what you pay for and these bags were not expensive.

If there was an option for zero stars I would choose zero stars. I had these bags delivered 35 days ago but didn’t put them on until a week after they were delivered. I only rode my bike a handful of time for probably about a total of 39 miles tops. I never over stuffed the bags. I was going down the road today and felt something hitting but butt. When I stopped and got off I found that the buckle was missing and the stitching had torn the whole way down the one side and half way down the other side. Thankfully there was nothing inside of the bag that could have fallen out. But here I am 35 days after the delivery so I can’t return the item. There isn’t even an option to talk to someone from the company to see if they can fix it or replace it or anything. Definitely would not recommend this product to anyone.
