I purchased this projector bulb in August last year and have used it for about 15 months, only a few hours each week. Unfortunately, it has already stopped working without any prior warning. During its use, I frequently encountered overheat warnings, indicating potential safety issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product due to its short lifespan and overheating problems.

I bought this lamp since my old lamp have 2000 hours already, and I felt the image is too dim now. This new lamp seems to be OK, but not more then that. Not all that bright, but not expensive as well. The mechanics is not very accurate but I managed to fit it in with some play. I was a bit disappointed to see that the brightness was about the same as my 2000 hour old lamp, but I guess this is what you get for that price. The thing that was more concerning to me is that after 1 hour of work, the projector started to smell burnt plastic. I immediately turned it off. I removed the new lamp for inspection, but I could not find the source for that smell. Luckily nothing seemed to be damaged in the projector itself, but since the brightness of the new lamp is not that good anyway, I switched back to the old lamp, and everything is fine now. I might give it another try, once the old lamp is burnt completely.
