I was excited to receive it but disappointed that does not fit on my Stihl kombi unit.The shaft has a different size thread,however discovered that it fits the shaft on my Honda so will keep it and use it on that unit or give it away.

I'm a repeat buyer. I bought this off-label product since I have an older Stihl weedeater and I can't find this part locally anymore. It fit my weedeater perfectly and I used it for about an hour of constant work. The cord finally got too short so I tried pushing the bump on the head to pull more cord out but it just won't release any. That's why I say that it works but with some issues. Now, I'm going to have to take the top off and pull the cord manually every time the cord gets too short. This happened to me w another head I bought from them before and I was never able to have the unit dispense cord easily. You're stuck opening the top and pulling the cord manually yourself which is a pain and time consuming. From here on out, I'll just buy a spool of cord and keep using this head cuz it's the only one I have left.

I bought 2Looks good, definitely strong material. The hulk might find it useful if he string trims.Reality totally useless unable to open. Zero usability. No reason to even make it...Safe yourself the hassle and buy anything else.**Amazon** get this off your site. And have the seller refund everyone

Looks well made but even with large strong hands I cannot open it to inspect the internal parts, so trying to replace the string while working outdoors would be nearly impossible. Would need to place this in a wide vice and compress the two tabs simultaneously with steel extensions. Seriously, tried pushing the tabs with pliers and it would not budge. Not a useable product, very disappointing.
