Why the hell is this 2 pieces. The moment a tire is put on it bends, screws keep popping out. The mount snapped off after a week of use. Straight garbage

If I didn't already have this assembled, I would return it. The instructions are terrible. The rubber pads were missing. There is no way to attached the studs to the plate. The studs only attach when the wheel/tire is attached. So when you remove the spare tire in the field, the studs fall to the ground. Then when you want to remount the flat wheel/tire, you have to hold a 100lb 35" wheel/tire in place while you reach around that thread the studs thru the plate, thru the wheel and tighten down the nuts. Yeah, right.

Everything looks great with the exception of the way the 2 pieces are held together. Not sure a tire will be able to stay on so I will be sleeving the 2 pieces to avoid failure. Great finish though.

The instructions were very vague. After putting in place, extremely hard to take tire on and off. Many parts more than needed. When in place the spare tire blocks the view of the vehicle license plate does making it illegal. Contacting Amazon to send back today.
