Extended Tank Drain Valve Assembly Kit

10-inch Braided Steel Drain Hose
The valve kit comes with a 10” flexible braided steel drain hose which prevents breaking and kinks. The rubber-wrapped handle is designed for easy-use and labor-saving.

Hex Bushing Brass Adapter
3/8" Male x 1/4" Female, for joining brass fittings or fittings with internal and external threads of different diameters for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability.
High Quality Ball Valve
It is made of chrome-plated brass for higher corrosion resistance than regular brass or steel and has a lever handle for on/off to control the flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses. And ball valve is pressure rated to 300 PSI at a maximum operating temperature of 212 degrees F.

This is an excellent addition to your air compressor. It makes draining the tank much easier and accessible. In my case it also acts a a trap for the water to sit in until I open the valve. My tank has clear water draining after a few weeks instead of the brown rust I was used to seeing. Easy to install for most compressors.

The fitting was easy to install. Unscrew the old one and screw in this new one with attached hose. The hose is supple and well protected by its stainless steel braid outer surface. There's plenty of length to reach from the center of the tank to the outer circumference of the tank where you can easily reach it. I used a 1/4" double female bulkhead fitting to mount the valve to the compressor wheel frame. Added a 1/4" 90° elbow to Vented downward.No more leaning and reaching under the tank to drain it. I would buy this drain valve assembly again and recommend it to anyone looking for one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I know these are not the best pictures, but what I did was remove the the release valve under the compressor tank, connect this hose, and then hook it to a long hose that I ran it out under the garage door, so all I had to do to drain the tank, was twist the valve and it spit out all the water on the bottom of the tank to the alley.
