This thing is a tank. Great build quality for your dollar and it’s absolutely silent. It seems a lot of guys are worried about weight but it packs small as is worth its weight in gold when you are in the tree. I have been flinging arrows from a tree over the last few days with it and I have no doubt it will be an essential piece of gear through this seasons public land hunts.

This thing works great. It held my bow, my bag, and has hooks to hang extras. It was easy to install and take down. I was a little worried before buying that it would be loose or not secure but I was wrong. Even with my bag and bow it didn’t wobble or move at all. It’s great that you can now hang your bow on public land with this strap on no screw in holder.

This product works great. My only complaint, is something that can't really be helped. Weight. If you're buying this, it's probably for public land like me so you carry everything.I was able to lighten it a little bit by combining the rachet strap with the one I use for my umbrella. However, this bow hanger works great. Held all my gear and my heavy ass Goldeen eagle hunting bow.

Great for public land. Easy pack in and set up. Included ratchet secures the holder to the tree very quickly. Solid enough to hold my bow and backpack if needed. Must have for public land or climber stand hunter.

Who's drilled into a tree and hates it?*Raises hand*What if I told you there is a much easier way to hang your bow and not deal with the pain in the process of drilling into the tree?*Omg really*Enter the ratchet hanger. Absolutely awesome for what it does and the ease of use. Goes up in literally as much time as it takes you to hug a tree and ratchet. Yeah, that quick. One of the best features, it's portable. I have a climber that I use in one of the hunting grounds, and it means I will hop to wherever the deer are given travel pattern alterations based on weather or encroaching hikers. Nothing is easy about drilling, re-drilling, un-drilling, and then doing it all again elsewhere. This hanger makes it very easy to relocate on a moments notice and still have your hanger.Sturdiness? Check. Hangs my PSE compound bow and my pack with no issues. My pack has all of your normal hunting things (knife, rattle, grunt tube, bleat can, paracord, water bottle, scent stuff, and a pocket folding saw) so it's got some weight to it. The hanger doesn't care, and takes it all.Obviously it's a ratchet, so, getting it setup the day before is preferable than ratcheting in the woods the day of a hunt. But, if you have a long sit and don't mind the initial setup noise, you're golden with this.

These hangers ratchet on to the tree tightly giving solid support to the gun or bow you hang on them. Has a solid hook for your backpack, and small hooks for calls or other accessories. Works great. My only recommendation is that you pay attention when strapping it on the tree. If you have the wrong slope to the trunk due to branches or whatever you will not get the proper angle for the arm. Make sure the trunk is straight or angled in at the top.
