First the good news - it works strait out of the box - needs a 250-1000ohm resistor. The included comms testing software is nice, simple and works well - use it. Comes with Devcom2000 Demo software that instantly spotted the Vega radar sensor (Vegapuls 64) and uploaded all the parameters.Now the bad news.The Devcom2000 software is limited to 10 days and them requires $800 to re-enable.The Vega software PACTware 5.0 does not work with this unit - it only detects vegas own expensive HART modem, BUT Vega have software PACTware 5.0DC - look for it, it is nowhere near as swish as the first version, but it works with any installed modem.So good bit is it works and looks well made, bad is the price of Devcom2000 and that industrial manufacturers seem to be locking out 3rd party hardware.Will be testing with the new Siemens radar in the next 4 weeks,
