I returned this Netgear Router twice, because I made a purchase of it twice. Wifi companies like Fios & Xfinity are two leading companies with WiFi.And both companies don't want their customers buying other routers to have better WiFi service on their customers devices

Every month I was paying extra 15 bugs for Xfinity router rent. Then I decided to change that with my own router. I bought this one, and then the internet was getting disconnected and connected. Like, the connection was not stable. I contacted Xfinity, and they told me that the router is having some issues. Replaces it with another refurbished NETGEAR router (C6250 ) from the same store and that is working fine. However this was completely my personal experience, in your case, you may experience different.

We have Cox internet service. We had some trouble hooking it up, which ended up being a cox problem. The lady put the MAC address in the serial number spot. either way we had to call Netgear for support. After 25 min on the phone my wife was told we had to sign up for a level 6 tech support to help us any further. The cost was a 150 $ for a 2 year service contract with them for us to take the support any further. After telling the technician that she would have to think about it, he abruptly hung up on her, without even a good by or a thank you for calling. I include this in my review because I want people to know the quality of the netgear support, RUDE. like I mentioned though, it ended up being a Cox problem.Once we got the modem-router working, it was the slowest modem I have ever experienced. We have 300 MPS service but the modem ran so slow it reminded me of an old dial up connection. It couldn't even run one device without buffering every 2 minutes. I dont know if it was because it was refurbished or not. I know one thing, we were not about to call Netgear tech support again to see what the problem was. We will be returning this unit and not purchasing any of their products any more and I will be recommending the same to my friends and family as well.

Every since I hot this modem. It has bee a hassle for me. It wouldnt connected right away had to have a technician come out from cox. So we fixed that problem. Then the modem doesn't get good wifi all. Cox did an updated last Wednesday and I think fried the modem so I had to call netgear they wouldnt help me until I paid for warranty because the warranty that comes with it had expired and all these problems started happening. Now I had a technician from cox had to come out today and I went ahead and went with there modem. So far so good now iam out all this money and cant return it either..

I am using an online TV company. They suggest use the 3 in 1 WiFi Cable Modem Router with AC1750..., therefore I searched Amazon and found the brand new product of this, then I found this particular refurbished " looks and works like the new one " with less than half of the regular price.It is indeed looks like a brand new one, very easy to install, up and download speed is very fast, never lost signals on TV, WiFi, Online and Phone calls.., it does work like a new one!I think it is a great deal!

Fantastic quality product for a refurbished item. The item arrived well packaged, the router itself looks brand new and functions perfectly. Provides me with 150 Mbps+ when wireless through Comcast/Xfinity in my very rural area. Took less than 10 minutes to get it connected to my Xfinity and I didn't even have to call them to do a thing. This router basically set itself up. And for any prior reviewers hating on refurbs, you should know that refurbished items are almost always the best choice and one bad experience means nothing. Refurbished is THE WAY TO GO. :)

Used this to replace a motorola modem from comcast on lease. this has a better wifi range and it runs much cooler. was able to stream netflix in 4k on both TVs in my apartment and use my iphone to use facebook and other apps without a glitch (i have a 100mbps connection) setup was easy, once you login to the admin panel and find the firmware address and serial number you call it in a have them replace the lease box with this one, it took me a while but I was able to get it working with a few restarts, overall process took about 1 hour, delay is on comcast end.i am overall happy with the product, not issues yet only had it for a month. so far so good!
