The Hollis F-1 LT foot pocket runs slightly larger than others, like the Apeks RK3 or ScubaPro Jet fins. I wear XL in the both those two models but I can squeeze my very wide (3E) size 12 Aqualung 7mm EchoZip Boots into the Regular size F-1 LT, though it is a snug fit. At depth, the neoprene compression creates a perfect fit. The F-1 LT XL gives a small amount of wiggle but not a big deal when I wear socks in my boots. These are especially great travel fins that still enable technical finning and kicks. They are slightly positively buoyant which is ideal for my wetsuit diving.

I live and dive along the Acadian coast of Maine. I use these fins for scuba and free diving. The weight is perfectly balanced and neutral buoyancy. Right amount of stiffness for the rough waters and currents of the Maine coast. Very well made, spring is perfect and easy to slip over boots when in the water. I have both Grey and white but I prefer white for visibility. These fins are for dry suit boots and wetsuit boots. Order the smallest size if you live in warm weather and like to use socks and thin boots. I am a 10.5 - 11.5 shoe size and the regular fits perfect. They are strong and powerful and will get you out of scary situations. Best fins ever made. Prove me wrong.

I have the standard F1 fin in the yellow tips, and love them. Got these because Hollis claims these are more buoyant, which I was looking for wetsuit diving, where a negative fin isn't needed, as opposed to dry suit. In the same size fin, they are about 0.1 lbs. different in buoyancy, which to me, isn't worth claiming; misleading. Aside from that... Great fin. Just didn't meet my expectations for being more buoyant.
