Overall the carboy is fine, thick, heavy, looks like it will last a long time, but the strap that came with it broke on the first attempt! Broke at the buckle, and luckily the carboy was very close to the ground or it could have cracked! Just a warning! Don't trust that strap! Get a handle that fits the neck, or possibly a higher quality buckle to replace the one it comes with (the webbing, while not easy to arrange around the carboy tightly, does seem like it might work?).

It's sturdy, came as advertised, and the harness thing is a pretty useful addition! The best part to me is that the opening fits the bubbler and rubber cap I bought ages ago that didn't fit my one gallon carboys!

The strap that came with the jug looks nothing like the one pictured. It is cheap nylon with a clamp strap not a clip. Like the jug, disappointed in the brew hauler that came with it.
