I bought a HON file cabinet because I wanted one that had easy to slide drawers, was sturdy and had easy to glide wheels. This HON file cabinet was expensive but well worth the cost. No regrets.

Don't order any HON product to be shipped to you like most other reviews I now understand why you don't order Hon stuff over the internet... they ship the 70lbs file cabinet in a card box box and wonder why it damaged... HON Get with the program they have great stuff IF you can get it in one piece in my case it was so damaged that the front bottom drawer was pushed off center by 1/2" to 3/4" of an inch. the top was dented, the left side was dented... and the front draw was scratched badly... sent back will never oder again.

Nice file cabinet for home use (lighter weight than some HON products). We have ordered 3 and they are perfect for our use. However, the third one came with bent top and bent drawers. Since we couldn't open the bottom drawer, we arranged for a replacement. But, that was a mess, since UPS wouldn't come and pick the thing up. Then, the replacement came--and guess what? It was also was bent!!!!!!!! However, we could open the drawers, so we gave up and kept it.

One of the four units we bought came damaged and another never did come. The dimensions provided were in accurate and/or misleading, so none of the units were going to work for us. So we had to go through the return process. HON has such a good name, and they were very expensive, but we did find a better solution elsewhere on amazon.com.

This was my second attempt to order this file cabinet. Both came damaged.Clearly, Hon needs to improve the shipping box and interior protection for these file cabinets.Most frustrating, as these are not lightweight items get into my vehicle and return to UPS.

I needed a file cabinet that would fit under my drafting table and this was the perfect fit. Hon is a great brand of file cabinet - you can't go wrong with Hon. I previously had a cheap file cabinet that had drawers that were so difficult to open and close - it was so frustrating that I just had to get a replacement. I'm very happy with my new file cabinet.
