My Honda EU2000i generator is working better than it has since I bought it used. I suspect the previous owner lost the spring when servicing it. A key part of the installation is to push the throttle vane into the wide open position after installing.The install was tricky. I removed the carburetor from the generator, dismounted the motor assembly and pulled the motor end shaft connector off. I fit the spring between the carburetor end and motor end adapters and then aligned the motor to engage the slot in the motor end adapter. Work where you can find the spring when it pops out, because it will.
