Love these!!! I have one and use it to make straight seams when top stitching, which I do a lot of. My 8 year old great-granddaughter is wanting to learn to sew and I got her one to help her make straight seams.

Very strong magnets. They're good if you aren't sewing something with pins in it, but not too helpful with pinned fabrics as you have to pull out the pins before you get to them. Not sure how helpful they are.

These are wonderful for keeping your seam allowance on commercial sewing machine. Stays in place no matter what material is being sewn. Leather, cloth, vinyl, canvas, etc.
