This is my go to pressure foot. The lines are easy to see and it makes my sewing more accurate. The see-through aspect makes it easy to see the fabric under the pressure foot as well.I purchased multiple ones so I always have one just in case. And the price is great too.

This presser foot fits my Brother very nicely. It is an answer to the problem of machine embroidery 'lines' by making the previous stitching walk the red 'line'.It would also be a godsend to double stitched seams.Easy to use, very nice.

It says it fits most low shank machines. It does indeed fit my Brother SQ9185; however, the needle will hit the foot if the needle is far right or far left. So, as is, it's of limited use to me. I might be able to open the hole with a Dremel.

This foot is loosy-goosy on my Janome 6500. I tried using it for sewing tops and cardigans from different knit fabrics. I believe the foot is simply shorter-shanked than all of the ones from Janome. Even though I has set foot pressure to 3 (all the way down), there was too much play in the fabric. I do recommend this for heavier fabrics, though, like thin woolens, flannels, or even stretch twills. I'm not sure I could imagine using this foot for piecing quilt blocks for the same reason I won't use it for any more knitwear projects. Also the measurements engraved and painted red on the foot were odd compared to my built-in guidelines on the machine base. None on this foot matched them.
