Looked hard for this kind of headphone. Works great, good noise reduction for yard work.

I'm in the mowing and firewood business. I'v been using similar radio ear muffs of almost every brand cheap and expensive for 20 years almost every day. These are hands down the best. They have lasted way longer than the rest. Battery life is way better than the rest and pick up more radio stations. More comfortable and compact design too. After a year the cushion parts around the ears started getting hard. No biggie Amazon has replacements.

I use these all the time with landscaping and construction and they are my favorite, and I’m on my second pair.

This Honeywell set gets multiple radio stations and clear as a bell. I bought a more expensive pair of 3M Work Connect + Bluetooth for the bluetooth connectivity feature. I can only get one one station with those.

This is replacing a broken worktunes unit and I cant believe what I was missing ! Pulls in more stations without drift. Tight on my head but did not cause discomfort. Controls are easy to use without looking at display. Seems very solidly built. Grass mowing is less tedious now !

I've only used the FM radio portion. To date (about 1 month of use) I've worn these when cutting grass (self powered, walk behind Honda) and trimming (Craftsman 2 cycle string trimmer). In both cases they've effectively muted the engine noise and I can clearly hear the radio with the volume set at about 80% of the max.The best feature for me is the digital tuner. I previously had earmuffs with an analog tuner and their station selectivity was poor, frequently changing stations with just a turn of my head. These stay locked on a station.I'll echo other comments that they seem to run small. My hat size is 7 1/8 and i use them fully extended, but believe they would fit better if they extended another 1/4" or so.

Stopped working after one season. No support from Honeywell. Honeywell's websites (and there are many) can't even find this model with a search function.Honeywell owns Sperian (which owns Howard Leight, which makes a similar unit) - maybe this is causing the lack of support? Regardless, the audio part is broken and I'm left with a very overpriced set of "normal" earmuffs.I originally bought a Sync pair from Stanley (bright yellow, identical functions). My wife started using the Stanley pair so much that I needed another set and I bought the Honeywell unit for her, and I kept the Stanley set. The Honeywell unit lasted one season of very light use and is toast. The Stanley set is three years old and working great. These two units look the same, but have a few build differences:1. Honeywell battery compartment open very easily, sometimes too easily. Stanley battery compartment requires a very firm push before the cover moves.2. Both units have a metal bridge in the battery compartment. The Honeywell unit has the bridge loosely placed in a slot, and the bridge slides around. The Stanley unit has the bride placed firmly, with no movement even after three years of constant use (and multiple battery changes). These are minor differences (that didn't bother me at first), but it's enough that I wonder if Honeywell unit has either been re-engineered to lower costs, or if it's just a knock off. I'll buy another Stanley set to replace this one. If the new Stanley set has the same build changes as the defective Honeywell unit, I'll update the review.

Great comfy noise protection. My head is on the big side ~7.5+. These sort of comfortably clamp onto my head which ensures it does not slip off while bending or doing anything sanely rigorous. For fun I've had a pair of 11 years olds try to scream through them. Only normal speech level sounds penetrated. I've biked in em (probably not recommended for sane people), worked with hammer drills, chop saws, loud grinders, near noisy air pumps...all while comfortably enjoying classical on WQXR (NYC NPR). They're comfortable to wear. And it's personally entertaining to see the mind boggled look on the faces of little children when these are accompanied by some mirror lens sunglasses as they take in the fashion statement. One or two have actually "look mommy look!". Lastly the stitching and material choices give a sense of quality. Although it won't mute a nagger it will take the sharp edges off the vocal so that you only hear pleasant speech. They came with a pair of Duracell copper top's that have been lasting ~5 weeks so far with minimally 4 hr per day use and still going.
