This was exactly as described and got here fast. Other sites I found this on wouldn’t be shipping for at least 5-7 days. 30 minute job. Furnace is working again like a charm!

It is a replacement for a Honeywell but it’s a knockoff part being sold under the guise of a name brand part. Was without heat in the middle of winter so I installed as my family didn’t have another option

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this 1-Stage Slow-Opening Direct Ignition Gas Valve? But seriously, my repairman wanted to sell me an exact replacement for my 20 year-old VR8205 for $800 plus $400 labor. Needless to say, I quickly sent him on his way and went to explore other options. When I found this replacement model VR8215 for $45 used, I jumped all over it. I was surprised to find mine had never even been out of the box. It was mint. Saved me a ton of cash. And no more chattering like my old valve and my teeth.Disclaimer: In no way am I encouraging a layperson to tackle this job. This is meant only for people who know what they're doing. Gas is very dangerous to work around. And confirm by Honeywell cross reference lists that this is indeed a replacement for your specific valve model.
