Great product and with it, I am free of wires and can mount the thermostat at a better location.

-the electronic design is old but who looks under the hood.-not that easy to install but very possible for the average home owner to do.-once installed the unit works VERY well and is dependable. with this device you can re locate the thermostat to any wall in the house. I have hot water heat and this thermostat works flawless. It is simple, works well, dependable.

Great and easy to install if you find the right video on YouTube. The manual sucks. I have a part thats left over and i have no idea how to install it but its working great without it

it burnt up, I had to buy another unit, to get it working correctly, the two pices were not snapped together properly when I installed it, I did not know this...........and honywell said no returns because even know I was a contractor, I did not pay a installer..to put it in, I am pissed, a extra 110,00, Larry Street

T.he product installation procedure is not for the "do-it-yourselfer." But, with a little help from a friend who knows heating systems, the controller installed with ease. Once installed, the remote was easy to connect and set up. It is controlling a kitchen area with under-floor hot water heat, perfectly. Because of the installation procedure, I could only give it 4 stars. Since it is being mass-marketed through Amazon, Honeywell should provide good instructions for those of us who like to do our own installation.

Okay, so I've had this Honeywell thermostat for about seven or eight months and I must say that I really like it, it was fairly easy to install and set up, but since I am handy and an engineer your experience may be less enjoyable, although it won't be because of the difficulty involved or the rather well-written instructions.This particular thermostat is a trifle more expensive than other thermostats because it is wireless, and that means that you can place the sensing unit just about anywhere, with the exception of the wires that have gone missing it works like just about any other thermostat.Now, about those features...The thermostat included in this kit lacks some of the better programmable features that other thermostats have, the inclusion of such a feature would've made this a five star review, but in my view this is the only disappointment that I've had with this product.I should mention that the documentation included does refer to accessories that you can purchase and use with this controller, such as Wi-Fi access which allows your controller to access your wireless router, this feature also allows you to access your thermostat over the Internet.In conclusion, I would say that this is a kit for anyone who is looking for a wirelessly controlled thermostat of superb construction but with low-end features and I can recommend this kit based on its fine quality.

this thermostat is fantastic, very easy to install works perfectly. I wanted non-programmable for the ease of operation and wanted the freedom to raise and lower the temp at will. Did a lot of research before purchasing and very glad I bought this unit. Well worth the price I paid would highly recommend this product

I installed this myself and with the instructions and equipment provided it was fairly simple. Nothing special, just a nice thermostat that doesn't need a cable run to it.
