These plates are a great economical option to replace the heat plates on your Char-Griller 5030 BBQ. However, the holes for the plates to rest on the side brackets are not quite spaced apart correctly. I had to bend the brackets a little to get the heat plate to seat. Other than that, they appear to be decent quality.

The holes to install them don't line up with the posts in the grill. We had to drill the holes out to make them fit. They are the right length, the holes are just in the wrong spot!

They don't fit exact but with a little bending on the grill tabs (Char Griller 5030) they fit. Just installed so time will tell.

Aside from the bad reviews, this fit my smoker/grill PERFECTLY!!! In fact, it fit better than the original! Awesome!
