I purchased these retaining clips as extras for the bath/shower valve replacement cartridge which was ordered simultaneously from Amazon. Although the manufacturer's cartridge package contained exactly the same clip, I found that these clips needed to be modified in order to fit the slots in the valve body they were designed for.

I'm giving this a two because this product shouldn't cost more than $6.00 . This is just tempered wire. Also when I ordered a new moen insert it came with a new clip. I wish it said that on the box.
