I purchased this product intending to replace my Moen faucet, as it supposedly had the same capabilities as the 1222 model. However, upon attempting to install it, I discovered that the dimensions were not compatible, leading me to return it and opt for the original Moen product from Home Depot instead.

My cartridge was really jammed up and the puller worked perfectly. Wiggled it back and forth until the cartridge came out. Instructions were not great, but with videos you'll figure it out. Make sure the pipe is clear before putting the new cartridge in. The new cartridge came with a plastic piece on the top that had to be removed. After that it fit perfectly and the dripping stopped completely.
