Product is well constructed and should accomplish the task for which it was designed. This will easily cover the transom saver I purchased for my Yamaha outboard.I do believe that there may be some more affordable alternatives. This is just a strong, 4 inch cinch strap with Velcro that I may have been able to find somewhere in my bin of straps in my garage.

This is a very sturdy and well made strap that does exactly what it says it does. It has the hooks and loops on the same side so you use it by looping through the metal piece and then wrapping around until the loops reach the hooks and grab hold. The strap is wide and has a good grip and won't go anywhere once attached. It could be used for a number of applications besides holding a transom saver in place, and the product description gives the diameters that it would work for. It is a very sturdy and well made strap.

Im using it on a Suzuki DF90A.I have a generic rubber transom saver I use so I can quickly run down the street to the boat launch. Over time, it started to bow out. This is supposed to wrap around it and keep it in place. It does exactly what it should, and the Velcro doesn't come loose. It fits properly around the transom saver, tightens back on itself, and is secured using the attached Velcro.The stitching and materials are of good quality. I know this is subjective, but it should last for a while.The negative I have with my motor, at least, is that it is not super easy to wrap it around the transom saver and then tighten it up.I give it 5 stars for quality, but 4 stars for functionality because it is not easy to wrap

This is a 4" wide black hook and loop cinch wrap strap for transom savers. Simply wrap the strap around the transom saver after it is installed. Pull the strap tight and seal it in place with the hook and loop. The heavy duty wrap strap is weather resistant for use in all weather, indoors or outdoors. It is made from heavy duty nylon and a stainless steel buckle. This is a great boating accessory that will help to save money and transom savers as well.Would recommend this to anyone.
