A bit tedious to put together, but worth it. Fits my JL Jeep perfectly. Will carry a cooler, camp gear with no problems. Nice thing about it I can swap it and mount it on my Defender with no problem. Pricey but worth it.

As designed, it is impossible to open the rear window on a Jeep JL when a standard Rotopax 2Gal Fuel tank is mounted on the passenger side. I had to drill new mounting brackets holes 1" aft from the factory holes, causing the passenger side fuel tank to extend noticeably aft producing an "unblanced" look. Also, as designed, the mounting features for the RotoPax mount are aligned 90 deg out from the necessary orientation. Installing the RotoPax mount in the proper orientation causes the clearance slot for accessing the screws that hold the oblong mount post to the base plate to be inaccessible, so you actually have to dissasemble the RotoPax mount from the frame to re-tighten. I recommend loctite but considering the vibration environment that is unlikely to entirely address the issue. Finally, the straps that hold the basked to the spare tire are exposed and non-locking, so you need to inspect the straps after stopping at a restaurant, gas station, etc. to ensure nobody has messed with them, since losing the basket on the road could easily kill someone...
