Leaves close upward at night in a manner resembling praying hands, hence the common name of prayer plant. It prefers bright and indirect sunlight. They thrive in moderate indirect light or even in full shade. Water every 1–2 weeks, allowing the soil to dry out half way down between waterings.

My plant appeared to arrive in good condition and it was a very pretty plant. Unfortunately, within a month leaves began to fall and the plant did not survive.

I was nervous about purchasing live plants online but I'm so glad I did. These were packed with extreme care. Beyond impressed on how they were packed with wet tissues and tape to secure the soil and the stems. The plant was encased in multiple layers of bubble wrap including an insulated layer. It definitely took awhile to unwrap. Be careful not to puncture when cutting,I did cut into one leaf but lesson learned. These plants were vibrant, full of color and alive! If it wasn't for the extra care in the packing process, they most likely would have shifted during travel and dried out. Thank you for my healthy new plants!
