When I got the brake controller I had to Jerry rig it as I had to tow something really quick and the brake controller worked. Did not like the look of the exposed metals so I ordered the adapter and it was way better! Electric brakes on the trailer worked perfectly.

So after troubleshooting now for 3 days and spending close to 10 hours of redoing wires and connectors and double checking stuff and jacking my trailer up three different times and crawling under and investing in new plug connectors and I mean everything from the junction box to the whip that connects to the car all to find out that this stupid Factory plug connector the wires are all in the wrong spot I crawled underneath 5 minutes ago to see that the black and the red are lined up together the White and the blue are lined up together they're all mixed matched wires none of them are in the right spot I don't really need to tell you which color goes where cuz I'm not exactly sure but I can tell you that none of them matched so now this $20 harness that I bought and now I can't return is worthless I guess I can either try and take the connector apart and put the wires in the right spot or just cut the wires in the middle and butt connector them in the right order even though the wires will be two different colors halfway through but anyways be careful guys don't make my mistake and rely on it to be correct clearly that's why Amazon has it here to sell it at a discounted price because they got a batch of bad ones and they're just still selling them instead of throwing them in the garbage

I almost hit the jackpot with this fantastic deal, and I bought the Warehouse Deal Hopkins Brake Force brake control for $12 too. Everything was perfect...until I received an used extensively Brake Force unit instead of the Like New condition Amazon advertised...Nevertheless, back to this product itself...This product was shipped in a cracked original package. Wiring seemed all right and I didn't notice any scratch or burn on the connectors themselves. Even the wiring plastic casing looked clean, so I was extremely happy...(I received this product first, then the Hopkin Brake Force brake control a few days later.)Too bad that I've nothing to test it on. Will update once I got another brake control from Hopkins (otherwise I would have to return this product too).
