They work as described. I used 1/4 bolts with washers and nuts to hold doors on my workbench. Would but again.

There is no way this little hinge will work for a wooden fence. Paper, perhaps. Plastic doll gate, maybe. Wooden human size gate? Gtfo

I live in the area of high wind with a 6 ft fence that has the gate blowing down often. These hinges are big enough that they can be attached over a wider area of wood to prevent splintering. Have had no problem with the wind since installing the new hinges the only thing that was changed was I used a longer bolt.
