These lasted about 10 minutes- literally. I turned out in a small paddock and my guy trotted around for a min and within 10 minutes of turn out the sharp edge of the boning material poked through and was out of two and then starting to break out of a third. This could have injured my horse. Unsafe and does not last at all. Not durable nor well made.

I wouldn’t even give one star if it were possible to give less. Two and a half days in and the plastic support pieces are already falling out of two boots. Boots are way too big and should have been marked as draft size. Don’t waste your money.

These worked well for the season but will not be able to be re-used. They did keep the flies off the horses and stayed on with the valcro closure but do not hold up as well as other brands I have used. They are however much cheaper so you get what you pay for.

These work very well. They haven't caused any rubs or issues. I use these on all 4 of my horses and have no complaints!

My horse loses fly boots all the time. I bought these because they're cheap. She never lost one after a month of 24/7 turnout. I will definitely buy them again.

I have used the original brand of this type of fly boot for the last couple of years. I needed new ones but they are so expensive, I decided to try a couple of cheaper brands. I found some I really like for half the price of the originals. These, however, felt flimsy out of the bag. The plastic struts are also very thin and weak and not sewn in properly. After a couple of days they were sticking out of the tops of the boots, so I pulled them out. That being said, the velcro is extremely strong and even without the plastic inserts, they have held up (in both senses of the word) extremely well. For that reason, even though I wouldn't buy them again as I can buy much better for just $4 more, I have given them 3 stars.

They are easy to put on and take off or readjust. The Velcro is sturdy, fit well and seem like they will hold up well. They do keep the flys off well. They’re a good deal for the price. The only thing I don’t like is the stays (the plastic pieces that keep it stiff) slide out the top. It’s easy to slide them back in but would have been better had they put a stitch or 2 at the top to keep that from happening.otherwise I would have given 5 stars. I would reorder them again and do recommend them.

I got these fly boots for my mare who has issues with flies biting her. These fly boots do the job of keeping flies off her legs. They are lightweight, brightly colored (helps to find in the pasture), and fit my standard sized horse well.My mare gets less manure in these fly boots than she has with different fly boots in the past. However, manure does still get into the fly boot and sit at the bottom of the boot until emptied.I attached two pictures. First picture is day 1 (brand new) of using the fly boots. Second picture is after about 1.5 weeks of using the fly boot. The fly boot quickly loses its original shape and starts to “sag”. Still does it’s job but not nearly as durable anymore.
