I ordered this product for DIY automotive repair at home. I have a large collection of specialty tools and was looking for something to help remove hose clamps easier. Vice grips work fine but these seem to be better designed for the task.This as nice basic hose clamp pliers that have a single task (maybe more if I try remove a CV boot). They have a nice rubber grip, and the jaws of the pliers seem to open wide enough for some of the bigger hose clamps in my vehicle.The pliers open and close freely and they could be operated with one hand if needed.Good value pliers for hose clamp removal.
