Installed this on my Vicsec VC13 mini excavator to monitor the return pressure and temperature. Measures at least 20 degrees hotter than the fluid is and also changes up another 20 degrees when I power on my fans. Going to try some different wiring ideas but this should work better than it does. The voltage seems to track nicely. My pressure measures 0, but I think that’s to be expected since I have a huge return filter and next to no pressure in the return line. Not many options on Amazon for a similar product but I wish this one was a little better built.

No instructions, but not hard to figure out. Connect one end to the ground and the other to the switched power. The meter will run when the motor is running.

I got this to replace the hour meter on my 26 foot cabin cruiser. The older meter on the boat had stopped working. The meter arrived in a plain cardboard box. It came with the meter itself and a couple of speed connectors with an insulator. However, there were absolutely no instructions or markings of any sort on the meter. Fortunately, I am experienced and know how to connect the meter. If you are not, you’ll need to do just a little bit of research. There are only two terminals to worry about. One of them connects directly to the on side of the ignition switch. The appearance of the meter is very nice. It has a red dial which turns well ours are being registered. The readout is large enough to be easy to read. It uses a standard gauge mount , probably identical to the one that you have on your boat panel precise specifications in the listing are correct and accurate. I have not yet installed a meter but I anticipate no difficulties or problems with it. If in fact, there are problems, I will update this review. One small thing. There is a piece of protective plastic wrap over the display of the gauge. It seems like they put this plastic on before they pressed the front of the gauge on. I could remove most of it, but the very edges I will have to cut off carefully with an X-Acto knife. One of the photos I have included display what I am talking about. Honestly, overall, I just don’t think you can go wrong with this gauge, as long as you sort of know what you were doing when you hook it up.
