I was looking to go back to a old-school style hour meter since the "new" LCD units have only been lasting a couple years before some the the segments stop working on the LCD digit display. Ordered the PLENTZOM Hour Meter 6664886, and it was a drop in replacement for the 1"x1.5" panel opening with 2 quick connects to connect to the DC power. However, the counter never moved from the 0.0 hours when tractor was running and power was being supplied to the hour meter. I tried reversing the DC connections just in case the + terminal was mislabeled - but still no hour counting. Not sure if this was just a rare dead-on-arrival (DOA) unit or if something else is going on. So very disappointed - guess I should have bench tested before actually installing in the tractor.
