Bought this to cover an older metal tabletop ironing board I found at a thrift store, and to my delight, it fit perfectly! The board looks much like the one in the description photos, but is white and missing the iron holder (the brackets are there, but I didn’t know what they were for, now I do! Eh, no matter, I’ve never had an iron holder before, lol). So, I have a pretty nifty little like-new ironing board for $12! Happy as a clam!

I did read the reviews before purchasing, but there was really nothing else that I could find that would fit my tabletop ironing board. It's a super, super, super tight fit.....but I got it on the ironing board. My board is made of particle board and the edges are really rough. I left my old super thin cover on so I could slip the new one on more easily. I almost gave up.....but one last effort did it. New cover is really thick and nice.

It was a bit snug at first but has since relaxed. I am delighted in the quality of the fabric used and the generous padding that is part of the covers design. NOTE - I got this for a table top collapsible footed board many years old. The snugness was a bit disconcerting but mostly because I am weakened by a stroke. My husband was able to get it stretched over the board after a bit of manhandling. It relaxed overnight and he was able to readjust it and it looks and acts like it was made for it. The fact that it was NOT an easy fit was totally on me and not the seller. The fact is the seller was offering a much better quality product than the others had offered and I was willing to risk it wouldn't fit. The fact that it DID FIT... was awesome! When my board dies or I get the spare dollars I will purchase their board and keep this recently purchased cover as a back up.

Took a little figuring out to get it to fit my board, but good and snug, it's not going to budge much, won't have to keep adjusting it. Much thicker than the one that came with my tabletop ironing board.Hadn't purchased these before, I expected it to be "rubbery" because of the silicone but it feels like fabric.Minor fidgeting and ironing may be needed to initially get any wrinkles out, depending upon how it ships, is folded, or whatever when it gets shipped or stored. I was lucky with mine, just left the ironing board upside down on a flat surface for a couple of nights, that flattened any wrinkles out of it. Looks like you can steam and iron any stubborn ones out, if it's really folded up while shipped or stored.I got a spare too when I got this one, just to make things easier when this one needs replacing.

A couple of months ago I ripped the cover that came with my mini ironing board that my parents had given me when I went away to college many years ago. The board has 2 inch legs and doesn't look anything like the board in the pic, so wasn't sure if this cover would be compatible with my board. Was a bit wary of buying due to the reviews where people say it takes 2 to put on because it's so tight. I was able to put the cover in place by myself but it takes several minutes of pulling and smoothing. If you see any of the white elastic on the sides, or feel ripples underneath the cover, you haven't pulled it tight enough. (You must run your hand down the length of the board because the pad is so thick, by looking you can't see it's rippled underneath). It took a good 5 minutes of pulling and smoothing, and it fits perfectly. Much thicker than my original cover, good quality, a slightly darker blue than in the pic shown, no pocket but has the little loop on the underside I guess it would have attached to. Since my ironing board is only a couple of inches off the table, wouldn't have made sense to have a pocket anyway. I liked the look of my old cover better (blue and white striped), but this is completely functional, fits perfectly, doesn't slip off and looks like it's going to last the life of the board. The description says "cover and pad" but be aware it's a cover with a built in pad, so this isn't a two piece kind of thing, which I think is better since it's easier to put on that way. This product is great and would buy again if I ever need another one.
