We have had this sink installed for less than a year. I didn’t have the highest hopes for an Amazon sink but this was the style I wanted only place we could find it under $600. It stretches easily, it IS stained (there are spots that look almost like a tea stain) and there was a cookie sheet in it for two days that left rust spots that won’t come out.Two stars only for the style and size. If I could return it and buy a better one, I would. But this will have to do until it’s in the budget to replace.

The 20/80 split is nice because it gives a big sink where the frying pan handle will go in the 80% split and the skillet is not partially out of the water like on equal splits where the handle holds the pan partially out of the water. The 20% split is perfect for the garbage disposal since I don’t put anything in the smaller split but garbage. That makes the garbage disposal always available without moving dishes.

Purchased the HOUZER LHD-3322-1 Legend 33-by-22-Inch 80/20 Drop-in Double Bowl Stainless Steel Sink and it arrived in good condition with no damage to shipping box. The sink itself is in good shape and undamaged. No issues with the finiah on the corners of the sink. The hardware was packed in between the outer cardboard container and an interior cardboard spacer and was not readily apparent so look closely for it.

Sink is fine, but I only had one of 2 strainers. Based on the pics you'd think I'd get both. Another $15 or so at the big box, so be aware.

I bought a house close to my 90yr old dad so I could help take care of him. That house had a sink like this and when I took one look at it, my thoughts were: "well, that is going to Have to Go! Turns out, I loved it. It has a BIG side, easy for washing giant pots and pans with a handle. The small side I found that I liked putting the small hand washed dishes there to dry. It is to be used to wash vegies and to peel or toss the unwanted parts from food you are preparing. I am weird about wanting to use a big bowl for that.So, only one year later, I had to move into my dad's house to care for him daily. When he passed away, I bought the house, and searched for quite some time before I found one like the one in my house and replace the crazy plastic one with this Wonderful sink. Love, LoVe, LOVE it!

I researched a number of quality sinks. Price range from $700 to just a couple hundred dollars. I researched the thickness, weight, size, special features (80/20, 50/50 ). I chose this for the thickness, the 80/20 ratio, the overall look and finally the price was perfect for our budget.

I love my new sink. It is a great configuration for ease of use and is easy to keep clean even with my high mineral content water. I was surprised when the double sink arrived with only one drain/strainer assembly. In my opinion this is a bad on Amazons part for not putting this info in their product description. I called Amazon thinking the part was missing and spoke with a customer service rep in India. My choices were to send the whole sink back or call the manufacturer myself and resolve the issue. I didn't think this was good customer service after having experienced great customer service from another online retailer when recently purchasing toilets. I called the manufacturer and found that they no longer ship double sinks with two drain/strainer units because "most" people put a garbage disposal in the smaller sink. The manufacturer does not sell to the public. So I then had to locate the part somewhere else on line because I live on the west coast and Houser is an east coast brand not carried our here and Amazon does not carry the part either. Eventually, the sink was installed and I love it. I love Houser, just not Amazon.
